Welcome from Aptos

We are tucked away at our beach house in Aptos. The kids had a great day exploring the Aptos Farmer's Market this morning. We loved the fresh organic produce, fragrant herbs, delicate pastries, fresh oysters/fish, and vibrant flowers. There was even a good country band playing merrily along in the warm sunshine. I was astonished to Monterey Bay sardines (fresh) for sale.

We followed it with an afternoon at Aptos Beach. The big news was the sighting of a lot of pelicans, a dead sea lion (not removed by the state rangers, we note), and a very big hole dug by some Latino guys.
